OCCF Announces Fourth Quarter Grant Recipients

Osborne County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 Fourth Quarter Community Grants, supporting projects that enhance quality of life, strengthen local organizations, and meet community needs across Osborne County.

These grants reflect the heart of OCCF’s mission—turning local generosity into meaningful, lasting impact. From supporting youth and families to investing in community events and facilities, each project plays an important role in building a stronger future.

Grant Recipients

USD 399 Daycare

Grant funds will be used to purchase kitchen supplies and outdoor play area equipment, helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for young children. This investment supports early childhood development while assisting families who benefit from the addition of quality childcare in the district.

City of Downs

The City of Downs received funding to support entertainment and advertising for the Downs Celebration. This annual event brings residents and visitors together, strengthens community pride, and contributes to local economic activity.

Downs Arts Council

Grant funding will provide microphones for the Storytelling Festival, enhancing the experience for both presenters and attendees. This support helps ensure that local arts and cultural programming remains accessible, engaging, and professionally presented.

Osborne Free Methodist Church

The church received funding to install new thermostats, improving energy efficiency and comfort within the facility. This project helps ensure the space remains welcoming and functional for worship services and community use.

Investing in Community—Together

OCCF’s quarterly grant program is made possible through the generosity of donors who believe in investing locally. Each grant awarded is a reminder that when people come together, small ideas can lead to meaningful change.

Grant applications will open again January 1, 2026, and OCCF will continue offering quarterly grant cycles in the coming year. Nonprofits (501(c)(3)), schools, cities, churches, and community organizations are encouraged to consider applying.
