Future Gifts

Future Gifts

Between 2020 and 2064, nearly $30 billion dollars will transfer from one generation to the next in Osborne County. The opportunity to capture a portion of that wealth is a remarkable one, and the time is now. If just five percent went to our local communities through planned charitable gifts as a part of estate planning, the future for Osborne County would be forever changed.

You can create your own legacy and help us deliver on our mission far into the future by including a gift to the Osborne County Community Foundation in your estate plan. Plus, in many cases, a charitable gift helps you avoid or reduce estate taxes.

OCCF can also be a beneficiary of retirement accounts, annuities, and other accounts.

Stewardship Counseling

OCCF partners with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation to assist potential donors in their effort to help secure the future of Osborne County. The Hansen Foundation's NW KS Gives  initiative

John Griffin, an estate planning attorney at Stewardship Counseling, is available to work with donors free of charge. John will consult with donors to review existing estate plans or to help create a new one. Once an outline is created, donors work with their existing attorney (or an attorney can be recommended) to complete the documents (paid for by the donor).
