Share the love this Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love — for the people who matter most, and for the places that feel like home.

At the Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF), we believe one of the best ways to share that love is by investing in the communities that have shaped us. The schools, organizations, churches, local programs and gathering places that make Osborne County strong are worth supporting — and February is the perfect time to do it.

That’s because February is Match Month, OCCF’s annual sustainability campaign. Donations made during Match Month help grow our grant-making ability — and help us capture matching funds through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, allowing every gift to go even further.

So, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, here are four simple ways you can share your love for Osborne County communities during our Match Month Era.

1. Make an Online Gift (Fast, Easy and Impactful)

If you’re looking for the quickest way to support OCCF today, online giving is the way to go.

When you donate online during Match Month, you’re directly supporting OCCF’s grant-making fund — which helps provide resources for projects and programs across Osborne County.

2. Mail a Donation (A Classic Way to Show You Care)

There’s something special about a donation sent the traditional way — it’s thoughtful, intentional and deeply appreciated.

If you’d like to mail your Match Month gift, you can send it to:

3. Stop By an OCCF Match Month Event (And Bring a Friend!)

Match Month isn’t just about fundraising — it’s about community.

Throughout February, OCCF hosts Match Month events across the county, and we love the opportunity to connect with residents, donors and friends face-to-face.

4. Give a Gift of Grain

In Osborne County, one of the most meaningful ways to give back is through agriculture.

During Match Month, donors can also support OCCF through a gift of grain — a powerful option for producers who want to make a charitable gift in a way that fits their operation.

A gift of grain can help support OCCF’s grant-making fund and strengthen communities across Osborne County — while also offering potential tax advantages.

A Valentine’s Day Gift That Stays Local

This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to share your love for Osborne County in a way that lasts.

When you support OCCF during Match Month, you’re not only giving back — you’re helping grow our ability to award grants, respond to community needs and maximize local impact for years to come.

Thank you for being part of this Match Month Era — and for helping strengthen the communities we all love.
