Tools for the Future
The Tools for the Future Fund was established in 2025 with a leadership gift from ONE Gas to support students at USD 392 Osborne County Schools and USD 272 Waconda Schools. Through grants for equipment, tools, and educational resources, the fund will help students complete secondary education programs in skilled trades and technical fields.
As a permanent endowed fund, it is anticipated to begin awarding grants in 2027. Donations are currently being accepted to grow the fund and provide greater support to local students as they complete technical education programs and prepare to enter the workforce.
