OCCF Awards Over $31,000 in Third Quarter 2025 Grants

Osborne County Community Foundation is proud to announce its third quarter grant recipients for 2025, awarding over $31,000 to support projects that strengthen our communities in Downs, Osborne, and Natoma. These grants provide critical support for programs, facilities, and community events that enhance quality of life for residents across Osborne County.


Downs Community Connection will proceed with clearing a lot south of Memorial Hall in Downs thanks in part to a grant from OCCF. This lot will serve as the site of a future Veterans' Memorial.

Downs

  • City of Downs – Downs Carnegie Library Bathroom Updates: $451

  • City of Downs – Street Banner Replacement: $1,300

  • Downs Community Connection – Memorial Day Spectacular: $1,000

  • Downs Community Connection – Veterans Memorial Preparation Phase 2: $6,000

  • USD 272 Lakeside – Food preparation and serving equipment for FFA: $2,000

  • USD 272 Lakeside – Young Ameritowne 2025: $825


Osborne

  • City of Osborne – Tennis Court Repairs: $10,000

  • NCK Outdoors – Osborne Shooting Sports: $2,000

  • Osborne Public Library – Youth Resources: $1,900


Natoma

  • Natoma Community Center – Flooring Renovation: $4,000

  • Natoma Community Library – Front/Back Door Replacement and Sink Replacement: $2,250


These grants reflect OCCF’s ongoing commitment to investing in Osborne County’s future—from enhancing public spaces and recreational facilities to supporting educational programs and local libraries. Each dollar awarded helps local organizations pursue projects that make a lasting impact, enrich our communities, and improve the quality of life for residents of all ages.

OCCF is currently accepting applications for fourth quarter 2025 grants. Applications are due November 30, 2025, and we encourage local organizations to apply for funding to support their community-impact projects.
