First Quarter Grant Applications Now Open

Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF) has opened its first quarter grant application period, inviting eligible organizations to apply for funding to support projects and programs that benefit communities across Osborne County.

OCCF grants are available to nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, and other eligible entities working to address local needs and enhance quality of life. Applications can be submitted through OCCF’s online grant system at www.osborneccf.org until February 28, 2026.

OCCF staff will host a series of Coffee & Cookies Grant Labs throughout February. These informal, come-and-go events are open to the public and coincide with OCCF’s annual Love Your County Match Month. OCCF invites community members to stop by, share coffee and cookies, learn more about OCCF and Match Month, and connect with staff. Donations for Match Month will be accepted at each event.

During Match Month, donations made to OCCF are enhanced by matching dollars from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, allowing gifts to go further and create greater long-term impact through grantmaking.

In addition to these public events, OCCF staff are also available to provide one-on-one assistance to grant applicants by appointment.

Coffee & Cookies Grant Lab Schedule:

  • Wednesday, February 4 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.City Office | Natoma

  • Wednesday, February 11 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Osborne Public Library

  • Wednesday, February 18 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Roundhouse Coffee | Downs

“These events give us an opportunity to support grant applicants while also connecting with our communities during Match Month,” said Mindy Miller, Executive Director of the Osborne County Community Foundation. “We want people to feel welcome to stop in, ask questions, and learn how their generosity can make a difference right here at home.”

Organizations or individuals interested in scheduling a one-on-one appointment with OCCF staff may also contact the foundation directly at 785-345-5130 or osborneccf@gmail.com.
