Each November, community foundations across the nation celebrate National Community Foundation Week — a time to reflect on the power of philanthropy and the impact of local giving. For the Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF), it’s also a season of gratitude. We are thankful for the donors, volunteers, and community members who make our work possible and who continue to invest in the future of Osborne County.

This year, we’re especially grateful for the incredible momentum we’ve seen across the county. New endowed funds have been created to support local communities and organizations for generations to come. Donors stepped forward during Match Month and Match Day, helping us grow our impact and support projects that strengthen our communities. Local organizations, schools, and volunteers turned grant dollars into action — improving public spaces, supporting youth programs, and addressing community needs.
OCCF board member Savana LaRosh shared, “I’m thankful for the increased support and involvement from all the communities inside Osborne County – whether it’s new fund development, donations, or positive sentiments shared regarding OCCF!”
Her words reflect the shared sense of pride and progress that continues to grow in our county.
